The domestic amino acid and vitamin markets traded mostly steady this week, with individual products showing divergent price movements.
Vitamins
- Vitamin A: 54–58 CNY/kg. European VA1000: 15–16.3 EUR/kg. Export volume edged up month-on-month in September. Some producers suspended quotations, drawing market attention.
- Vitamin E: 47–52 CNY/kg. European VE: 6.8–7.5 EUR/kg. Manufacturers are more willing to hold prices after earlier correction, low-cost supplies reduced. New capacity launch is a key factor to watch.
- Niacinamide: 41–43 CNY/kg. Raw material cost rose; major suppliers lifted offers with improved trading activity.
- Vitamin B1, K3, Folic Acid and Dicalcium Phosphate moved lower. D3, B2, B6, B12, Biotin, Calcium Pantothenate and VC stayed soft and stable.
Amino Acids
- Lysine: 98% Lysine at 6.45–6.8 CNY/kg; 70% Lysine at 4.2–4.7 CNY/kg. Exports increased month-on-month, while domestic demand remained weak.
- Methionine: 24.8–25.4 CNY/kg. Overseas plant maintenance and supply curbs underpin prices, market trend is firm.
- Threonine: 7.28–7.6 CNY/kg. Better export performance supports producers’ price-hiking intention, market holds steady to stronger.
- Tryptophan: 27.5–28.5 CNY/kg. Trading activity was quiet, price remained stable.
